Sphingosine kinase phosphorylates the lipid, sphingosine, to sphingosine-1-phosphate (S-1P), which is part of the cell survival signaling cascade. Over expression of Sphingosine Kinase activity is implicated in diseases such as cancer.
Description
This kit contains reagents sufficient for 400 enzyme reactions (15 μL) to be performed in a 384-well plate format and contains assay components other than enzyme and inhibitor. For kit contents and required materials not supplied, refer to sections 2.0 and 7.0 of the Product Insert.
